【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesfunctionalrequirementsandaproductlabellingsystemapplicabletoarangeoftemporaryandpermanentpassiveguards(inthefollowingcalledscreens)forprotectionagainstlaserradiation.ThisstandardincludestestmethodsfortestingfunctionalperformanceandalsothespecificationoftheuserdocumentationtobesuppliedwiththeproductThescreensaredesignedtoprotecttheuserfromuncontrolledemissionofdirectand/ordiffuseradiationforadefinedexposuretolasers,basedonthenecessaryfunctionalrequirementsforanyparticularapplicationbeingdeterminedbyriskassessmentprinciples.Thisstandardappliestosupervisedscreensforinstallationsinworkingplacesatwhichlaserradiationuptoamaximummeanpowerof100Worsinglepulseenergyof30Joccurswithinthespectralrangebetween180nm(0,18μm)and10nn(1000μm).Thisstandardappliestoprotectionagainstlaserradiationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytootherhazardsincludinghazardsfromsecondaryradiationthatcanariseduring,forexample,materialprocessing.Thisstandardgivesguidanceonhowtoselectsuchscreens.Thefollowingarenotconsideredtobewithinthescopeofthestandard:—laserenclosuresandhousingsthataresuppliedaspartofthelaserproductoraresuppliedtobefittedtoalasersystemtoformalaserproduct(accordingtoIEC60825-1:1998);—anyscreenwhoseprotectivepropertiesarelimitedtoarestrictedrangeofanglesofincidence(e.g.someinterferencefilters).

【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheheatreleaserateandanumberofotherfire-test-responsecharacteristicsasaresultofexposinginsulatingmaterialscontainedinelectricaloropticalcablestoaprescribedheatingfluxintheconecalorimeterapparatus.Quantitativeheatreleasemeasurementsprovideinformationthatispotentiallyusefulfordesignofelectricaloropticalcables,andproductdevelopment.Heatreleasemeasurementsprovideusefulinformationforproductdevelopmentbygivingaquantitativemeasureofspecificchangesinfireperformancecausedbycomponentandcompositemodifications.Heatreleasedatafromthistestmethodwillnotbepredictiveofproductbehavioriftheproductwillnotspreadflameoveritssurfaceunderthefireexposureconditionsofinterest.Thefire-test-responsecharacteristicsdeterminedbythistestmethodareaffectedbythethicknessofthematerialusedastestspecimen,whetherasaplaqueorascoatingonawireorcable.Thediameterofthewireorcableusedwillalsoaffectthetestresults.Aradiantexposureisusedasanenergysourceforthistestmethod.Thistypeofsourcehasbeenusedforcomparisonwithheatreleaserateandflamespreadstudiesofinsulatingmaterialsconstructedintocableswhenburninginaverticalcabletrayconfiguration(TestMethodsD5424andD5537)(2-9).Nodefinitiverelationshipshavebeenestablished.Thevalueofheatreleaseratecorrespondingtothecriticallimitbetweenpropagatingcablefiresandnon-propagatingfiresisnotknown.Thistestmethoddoesnotdeterminethenetheatofcombustion.Ithasnotbeendemonstratedthatthistestmethodiscapableofpredictingtheresponseofelectricaloropticalfibercablesinafullscalefire.Inparticular,thistestmethoddoesnotaddresstheself-extinguishingcharacteristicsofthecablesinafullscalefire.1.1Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.1.2Severalfire-test-responsecharacteristics,includingthetimetosustainedflaming,heatreleaserate,totalheatreleased,effectiveheatofcombustion,andspecificextinctionarea;aremeasuredorcalculatedbythistestmethodataconstantradiantheatingflux.Forspecificlimitationsseealso5.7andSection6.1.3Thetestsareconductedbyburningtheelectricalinsulatingmaterialscontainedinelectricaloropticalfibercableswhenthecabletestspecimens,excludingaccessories,aresubjectedtoradiantheat.1.4Thisstandardmeasuresanddescribestheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,productsorassembliesunderactualfireconditions.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityorregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection7.
