【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameasureofsurfacefrictionasafunctionofslidingspeed,eitherinthefieldorinalaboratory.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtodeterminetherelativeeffectsofvariouspolishingtechniquesonmaterialsormaterialcombinations.Thevaluesmeasuredinaccordancewiththismethoddonotnecessarilyagreeordirectlycorrelatewiththoseobtainedutilizingothermethodsofdeterminingfrictionpropertiesorskidresistance.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheprocedureformeasuringpavedsurfacefrictionalpropertiesasafunctionofspeedusingtheDynamicFrictionTester(DF-Tester).1.2TheDFTesterconsistsofahorizontalspinningdiskfittedwiththreespringloadedrubbersliderswhichcontactthepavedsurfaceasthediskrotationalspeeddecreasesduetothefrictiongeneratedbetweentheslidersandthepavedsurface.Awatersupplyunitdeliverswatertothepavedsurfacebeingtested.Thetorquegeneratedbythesliderforcesmeasuredduringthespindownisthenusedtocalculatethefrictionasafunctionofspeed.1.3TheDFTestercanbeusedforlaboratoryinvestigationsandinthefieldonactualpavedsurfaces.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Theinch-poundequivalentsarerationalized,ratherthanexactmathematicalconversions.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.`
