【摘要】:Thinflexiblecards(TFC),thesubjectofISO/IEC15457,areusedtoautomatethecontrolsforaccesstogoodsorservicessuchasmasstransit,highwaytollsystems,carparks,vouchers,storedvalue,etc.Fortheseapplications,datacanbewrittenand/orreadbymachinesusingvariousrecordingtechniquessuchasmagneticstripe,opticalcharacterrecognition(OCR),barcode,contactless,etc.ThispartofISO/IEC15457specifiesthephysicalcharacteristicsofthinflexiblecardsattwopointsinthecardlifecycle:1.atthepointofloadingintothecardissuingequipment;2.atthepointofissuetothepublic.Ittakesintoconsiderationbothhumanandmachineaspectsandstatestheminimumrequirements.Theprincipalcardsizesareidentifiedandthecharacteristicsanddimensionsarespecified.Guidanceconcerningthestorageanduseofcardsundervariousenvironmentalconditionsisgiven.
