【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtoprovidestandardrequirementsandproceduresforsamplingfreshlymixedconcretefromdifferentcontainersusedintheproductionortransportationofconcrete.Thedetailedrequirementsastomaterials,mixtures,aircontent,temperature,numberofspecimens,slump,interpretationofresults,andprecisionandbiasareinspecifictestmethods.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforobtainingrepresentativesamplesoffreshconcreteasdeliveredtotheprojectsiteonwhichtestsaretobeperformedtodeterminecompliancewithqualityrequirementsofthespecificationsunderwhichtheconcreteisfurnished(Note1).Thepracticeincludessamplingfromstationary,pavingandtruckmixers,andfromagitatingandnonagitatingequipmentusedtotransportcentral-mixedconcrete.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Note18212;Compositesamplesarerequiredbythispractice,unlessspecificallyexceptedbyproceduresgoverningtheteststobeperformedsuchasteststodetermineuniformityofconsistencyandmixerefficiency.Proceduresusedtoselectthespecifictestbatchesarenotdescribedinthispractice,butitisrecommendedthatrandomsamplingbeusedtodetermineoverallspecificationcompliance.1.3Thispracticealsocoverstheprocedurestobeusedforpreparingasampleofconcreteforfurthertestingwhereitisdesirableornecessarytoremovetheaggregatelargerthanadesignatedsize.Thisremovaloflargeraggregateparticlesispreferablyaccomplishedbywet-sieving.1.4Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterialandshallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthepractice.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(WarningFreshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)
