【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesuserswithcurrentmethodsforpreconditioning,handling,processing,andmeansofcharacterizingthematerialsthatareproduced.Limeandflyash,andmixturesoflimeandflyashcanbeusefulfortreatinghazardousandnonhazardouswasteasfollows:4.2.1Treatinghazardouswasteforpotentialresourcerecoveryapplication,4.2.2Solidifyingliquidsandsludgesthatarebannedfromlanddisposalbecauseofexcessfreeliquidcontent,4.2.3Treatinghazardouswastethatmayrequiretreatmentbecauseofhazardousconstituentspriortolanddisposal,and,4.2.4Treatinghazardouswasteforpotentialdelistingtoanonhazardouswastestatus.Eachoneoftheseapplications,however,mustcomplywithrequirementsoftheResourceRecoveryandConservationActandtheHazardousandSolidWasteAmendments.1.1Thispracticeprovidesdescriptionsandreferencesofexistingtestmethodsandcommercialpracticesrelatingtotheprocessingoflime,flyash,andheavymetalwastesinconstructionapplications.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
