【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsforthedeterminationoftheparticledensityandwaterabsorptionofaggregates.Thefirstfivemethodsareapplicabletonormalaggregateswithasixthmethodforlightweightaggregates.Theprincipalmethodsspecifiedare:a)awirebasketmethodforaggregatespassinga63mmsievebutretainedona31,5mmsieve;b)pyknometermethodsforaggregatespassinga31,5mmsievebutretainedona0,063mmsieve.NOTE1Thewirebasketmethodmaybeusedasanalternativetothepyknometermethodforaggregatesbetween4mmand31,5mm.Incaseofdispute,thepyknometermethoddescribedinclause8shouldbeusedasthereferencemethod.NOTE2Thewirebasketmethodcanalsobeusedforsingleaggregateparticlesretainedona63mmsieve.Amethodforthedeterminationofpre-driedparticledensityofdenseaggregatesisspecifiedinannexA.NOTE3Astheabsorptionofdenseaggregatesislow,pre-driedparticledensitycanbedetermineddirectlyinwater.Thismethodisdifferenttothedeterminationofparticledensityonanovendriedbasis.Amodifiedversionofthewire-basketmethodsuitablefordeterminingtheparticledensityandwaterabsorptionofcoarseaggregatessaturatedtoconstantmassisspecifiedinannexB.Forlightweightaggregates,amodifiedversionofthepyknometertestspecifiedinannexAisspecifiedinannexC.
